Hello!
Sorry i dont know Czech language but maybe anybody can help me.

I have PMD-85A computer but don't have EPROM chips inside(((
I want to know where i can get ROM files, and what types EPROM chips i must have? for use in this computer?
Please help!

Hello.

All ROM files you can find inside PMD 85 Emulator ZIP package (Rom folder). See Download section on our site.

If you have PMD 85-2A, use monit2B.rom (rather than monit2A.rom). It is 4kB file that you need split into four 1kB files and Write them into 1kB EPROMs (2708, К573РФ1).

aga! good! thank you!

but maybe i can use one 2732 chip?
Or will be better have one 2764 chip (and write here two images 4+4 kb) ? This is possible?

Unfortunately, without HW changes on the main board, not. Main board contains four 24 pin DIP sockets for 1kB EPROM 2708.

I undestand i need make some changes on board but one 2764 chips is better then four 2708
Anybody do this?

On the following site you can find whole schematic of the PMD 85-2A (other models PMD 85 too).

You can try to replace old 1kB ROMs by new 4kB/8kB ROM.
ROM begins at 8000h and ends ar 8FFFh. Keep in mind that ROM is mirrored from 0A000h to 0AFFFh.
